English pages for 1411 places (1411 of them in search results; the others are listed but not indexed until they meet the site's index rule), 6 guides, 6 courses and 24 festival and event series.

Each English page is a translation of its Korean page. When the Korean page changes, its English page is taken down until the translation is updated, so the two never say different things.

Opening hours, closed days, fees, parking, phone numbers, check-in times and menus come from the Korea Tourism Organization's TourAPI and, for some places, from their own official websites. Nothing is filled in from general knowledge.

Every value names its source. Where two sources give different values, the page shows both, each with its source, and says "Sources differ — call before visiting". A value no source gives is listed once as "Not listed".

Original texts whose terms of use (the KOGL type) are not confirmed are not copied: pages link to them, descriptions are written anew, and values such as hours, fees and menus are kept as the source gives them. Distances are straight lines between coordinates, not travel distances.

This site takes no bookings or payments. The ‘Book’ buttons on place, guide and course pages open only the official booking pages in our data (run by the facility or a public body); links of travel agencies and booking apps never become buttons.

Photos are from the Korea Tourism Organization under the Korea Open Government License (KOGL): 775 under KOGL Type 1 and 1244 under KOGL Type 3 (no changes allowed). Type 3 photos are shown exactly as published: never cropped, enlarged or edited. Each photo carries its source and license.

The illustrations on this site were drawn with generative AI; every photo of a place is an official Korea Tourism Organization photo, shown with its source.

English names follow the Korean government's guideline for public terms: the proper part in Revised Romanization and the generic part in English (for example, Nakjo Sunset Trail). Business names are romanized. Every place page also shows the Korean name, which helps when you search a Korean map or show it to a taxi driver.

The ‘Ask’ button at the bottom right opens an assistant that answers only from this site's information: the values and sources on its place, guide, course and event pages, with a link to each page it uses. Where two sources differ it gives both; where the site has no value it says so and points to the phone number or official website in the data.

Answers are written by Claude Haiku 5.5, an AI model by Anthropic. AI answers can be wrong: check the linked pages and the official sources before you go. It cannot book, pay or sign you up; it only links to official booking pages.

This site does not store conversations on its server. The conversation stays only in this browser tab and is cleared when you press ‘New chat’ or close the tab. Each time you ask, the new question, the conversation before it (the last 12 messages) and the address of the page you are on go through this site's server function to the Anthropic API, which writes the answer. The server log keeps only the outcome and usage numbers, never your questions or the answers. What happens to them at Anthropic follows Anthropic's policies, and this site cannot delete what has already been sent.

Please do not type personal details such as names or phone numbers: nothing masks them automatically. If you typed one by mistake, press ‘New chat’; otherwise it is sent again with the conversation the next time you ask.
